The tidbits contained in this publication re taken from the Brownsville Historical/Stillman House newsletter, the bi-monthly house organ for the association. First published in 1981, it reports on the activities of the organization and tidbits of life, events, personalities and organizations of early Brownsville.

These tidbits are not placed in any particular order but rather as they surfaced during research on various projects. Some are titled and rather extensive and others may contain but a single sentence; however, all reflect some aspect of early life in our town.

This publication and proceeds are dedicated to the members of the Brownsville Historical Association who have labored throughout the years to preserve and teach Brownsville's colorful history.
